From negative to positive inspection certificate without any worries

We are specialised in bringing electrical installations in existing homes into compliance. We help customers in Overijse, Huldenberg, Tervuren and surrounding villages on a daily basis.

After a negative inspection certificate :

  • We first carry out a thorough analysis

  • We look for practical solutions to the various problems

  • We aim to find solutions that minimise demolition and excavation work

  • All work is, of course, carried out in accordance with the General Regulations on Electrical Installations (GREI)

  • Finally, we ensure that your installation is ready for re-inspection

We guide you through the entire process from start to finish, including the contacts with the inspection organisation.

Earthing resistance too high

In our region, it is quite common for earthing resistance to be too high. This issue is often observed during the inspection of a solar power or charging point installation.

The cause is usually a combination of an outdated installation (grounding pin missing or in poor condition) and the composition of the soil (sandy subsoil). Consequently, even with an earthing loop, the resistance may still prove to be too high.

The solution in such cases is deep earthing, whereby the earthing rod is sometimes driven to a depth of up to 30 metres.

Over the years, we at DBeR have built up a great deal of knowledge and experience in rectifying earthing installations. We also have the specialist equipment required to carry out this work, enabling us to guarantee that we always achieve an earthing resistance well below the legal standard.
